The problem at high temperature ranges
Buildups of deposits in preheating systems for rotary kilns in the cement industry disrupt the production process and reduce economic efficiency due to:
- Loss of performance
- Increased energy requirements
- Risk of accidents when undertaking manual cleaning works
SHOCK-BLOWER® air blast devices store highly compressed air (up to 10 bar), and according to requirements, release it abruptly, in intervals of milliseconds.
Special heat-resistant nozzles target these explosive blasts of air at the area between the refractory lining and the deposit buildups.
This achieves the best cleaning results while ensuring that the deposits are moved towards the outfeed.
